This weekend i was reminded of the joys in celebrating birthdays with one on my longest friendships 20+ years.

Although it was a challenge for me to make the 54mile drive to Cannon Villas. The smile on my friends face made that journey well worth while. We live in a time of constant motion no one is really still unless asleep and even then our minds keep wondering,  trying to create the next mouse trap. We should at every moment just say Hi from our hearts call up longtime friends. Yes Facebook, twitter and general social media keeps us up-to-date, nothing  us like a voice or a pat on the shoulder.

After the celebration of 4 joint birthdays, i returned to Kingston to celebrate with another friend.  What an enjoyable weekend of good memories.
